アンドロイド最新OS「Android 9 Pie」リリース
Googleは、最新のOS「Android 9 Pie (アンドロイド 9 パイ)」をリリースしました。
今年5月にAndroid Pの名称でベータ版がリリースされていましたが、正式名称は「Android 9 Pie (アンドロイド 9 パイ)」となりました。
今現在Google PixelシリーズとEssential PH‑1がOSアップデート可能となっています。ベータ版が配布されていたSony Xperia XZ2(海外モデル), Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S, Nokia 7 Plus, Oppo R15 Pro, Vivo X21, OnePlus 6やAndroid Oneスマホは今年の秋にもアップデートが可能になる予定です。
Starting today, an over-the-air update to Android 9 will begin rolling out to Pixel phones. And devices that participated in the Beta program from Sony Mobile, Xiaomi, HMD Global, Oppo, Vivo, OnePlus and Essential, as well as all qualifying Android One devices, will receive this update by the end of this fall. We’re also working with a number of other partners to launch or upgrade devices to Android 9 this year.

最新OSAndroid 9 Pie (アンドロイド 9 パイ)は、ユーザーの行動を学習してバッテリー節約するAdaptive Batteryやアプリの切り替えをホームボタンでジェスチャーで行うIntuitive Navigationなど多くの機能が新たに盛り込まれています。
