Galaxy Note7 タイ国際航空でも機内での利用禁止
充電中のバッテリー爆発事故が相次いでいるサムスン製のスマートフォンGalaxy Note7（ギャラクシーノート７）。
世界各国の航空会社は、飛行機内での使用について注意喚起しており、日本でも国土交通省が航空機内では、電源を切ることなどを乗客に説明することを国内の航空会社に要請しています。
タイの航空各社「タイ国際航空」「ノックエアー」「タイ・スマイル」「バンコク・エアウェイズ」は、フェイスブックでGalaxy Note7を機内で利用しないように告知しており、「飛行機内では電源を切ること」「機内では充電を行わないこと」「受託手荷物として預け入れないこと」を乗客に注意喚起しています。
また現在、タイ国内でのGalaxy Note7の販売は停止しています。

Thai Airways International (THAI) warns passengers on the use of Samsung smartphone Galaxy Note 7.
THAI announces that usage or charging of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is prohibited on board THAI flights, and prohibits loading into the checked baggage.
Flight Lieutenant Pratana Patanasiri, THAI Vice President of Aviation Safety Security and Standards, said that due to Samsung recalling its smartphone Galaxy Note 7 worldwide, Thai Airways International is asking all passengers to comply with THAI’s policy not to operate or charge the smartphone on board THAI flights, as well as not to load the smartphone into the checked baggage.

Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited requires passengers’ collaboration not to use or charge Samsung Galaxy Note 7 anytime on-board, and the smart phone is not allowed to be stowed in any checked baggage.
According to the statement of EASA and FAA in regards to the advice of the use of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and for the safety of passengers, Bangkok Airways requires passengers’ collaboration not to use or charge Samsung Galaxy Note 7 during flights and the smartphone is not allowed to be stowed in any checked baggage. Should passengers find any portable electronic device broken, damaged, producing heat or smoke please contact a cabin crew immediately.
